Looking for a roof slate that combines a wide range of creative possibilities with durability? Thanks to their smooth surface and unique finish quality, Ardonit fibre cement slates are your best option.
The visible side and edges are provided with a double coat of paint and environmentally friendly coating, the back side with a single coat of paint and an extra resin layer. In this way the slates receive the best possible protection against water absorption. Furthermore, they are lightweight, easy to handle and have a low susceptibility to breakage. Double pressing also ensures high density levels and thus exceptional strength.
Ardonit roof slates are available in various sizes and colours, with straight and/or cut corners.
- High quality for optimal durability
SVK only uses the best raw materials to manufacture Ardonit slates. Because of the specially selected, high-quality fibres and thorough pressing, SVK's Ardonit roof slates are significantly stronger than the European standard (EN 492), which immediately explains their remarkably high durability.
- Environmentally friendly coating with moss-resistant elements
A double coating of paint is applied to the visible side and the edges of the slate, based on an environmentally friendly, water-based acrylic resin. A single coat of paint is applied to the back side, on top of which a transparent resin layer is added to prevent water absorption. Due to the specific moss-resistant elements in our paint, moss formation basically has no chance.
- Perfect finish
SVK has a high-tech finishing line that is unique in Europe. The handling of the slates, application of the finish layers and packaging are all fully automated. This, combined with continuous quality control, ensures that only the best finished slates leave our factory.
- Dimensionally consistent and quick installation
SVK fibre cement slates are dimensionally consistent in length, width and thickness. They require no prior sorting for thickness and can be installed immediately. This means significant savings on costs and time.
- Easy to handle and low susceptibility to breakage
Pyrites and microscopic fractures are common with natural slates and can easily lead to breakage. This does not happen with Ardonit fibre cement slates. The slates are also easy to handle and have a low susceptibility to breakage.
